“Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.”

~ Maria Robinson

As we look back over the past year in retrospect the easiest thing to do might be to ruminate in the “coulda, woulda, shoulda” syndrome. Falling into that trap may be the most counter-productive activity to engage in. Continue reading

Peter Schiff is right!

Peter Schiff is right. The other fellow says we should go back to the tax rates of when Clinton and even Eisenhower were president. If that logic works then why isn’t the President willing to go to the government spending levels back then as well? Furthermore there is empirical evidence that shows raising taxes has the adverse affect of what one would expect on both revenue received by the government and the economy in general.

A National Treasure

Thomas Sowell

Thomas Sowell, in my mind,  should be given the status of National Treasure. That may sound a little grandiose so I suppose that I  have a confession to make. A Few Last Thoughts Before You Vote

The Media Doesn’t Care

In Benghazi they were thrice denied support and then four Americans died knowing they had been abandoned. The media doesn’t want this to be a story and they are complicit in the cover-up. The so-called “watchdogs of democracy” are silent because they are so vested in the re-election of the man who bears the title “Commander in Chief” they simply don’t think it’s consequential that four Americans died.

Romney Is The Clear & Only Sane Choice For Libertarian Minded Voters

If you want limited government, lower taxes, less but more reasonable regulation, making the Fed accountable, more liberty through personal responsibility, checks on out-of-control government agencies like the EPA and a balanced budget – you are either sympathetic to, or supporting the Tea Party movement and/or a Libertarian.
